We have used ITW's 17 years of experience
with gas operated tools to develop the Spit Pulsa 700P,
which is a compact, lightweight tool, well balanced and
ergonomically designed making a big difference to overhead
working.
It has a small, state of the art battery which ignites
the spark to fire the tool and operates the fan which
mixes the fuel air mixture for efficient firing. The
fan cools the tool which means that it can be fired
at 2 nails per second, all day long. The battery has
a one hour charge and spare batteries can be bought
separately.
Electronic fuel injection means that the Pulsa 700P
will fire optimally in temps as low as -5ºc.
The contact pressure is 5 kilos and the distance for contact
pressure is 16mm meaning that the effort required to depress
and fire the tool is easy for the user especially when
working overhead.
The Pulsa 700P has 20mm & 40mm pin magazine options
and loading and unloading the pins is easy.
The protective dust cap prevents dust build up in and
around the tool's working parts when working in excessively
dusty situations.
The Pulsa 700P comes in a compact carrying case which
has space for a box of nails and gas cylinders. Accessories
are available such as a magnetic nail guide for use
with washers for fixing expanded metal lathe.
The Linear Combustion Engine

At the heart of the Pulsa is the patented linear combustion
engine. With its steel piston rings and precision-machined
combustion chamber, Pulsa drives fasteners all day long,
week after week, year after year, with 100%, 200% and
300% cost-in-place savings.
Pulsa Nails - the nails that do
not penetrate completely - by design !

Upon firing, the Pulsa nail is designed to stop mid-way
at a precise point. On its way into the base material,
it compresses the plastic strip making it "balloon
out" to increase the bearing surface against the
track. This results in excellent holding power.
